- Is Height Supply registered with the NCC?
- Yes. Three separate registrations: Grade 4 Category E for general electrical and telecommunication, Grade 5 Category B for general building and housing, and Grade 4 Category R for general roads and earthworks. All three are valid to 31 December 2026. The company is also a Registered Engineering Organisation with the Engineering Registration Board, EngRB number 012284525247742, holding a Class C2 practising licence for civil and electrical engineering.
- Can Height Supply bid for government tenders in Zambia?
- Yes. The company is registered on the ZPPA e-Tendering platform, registration number 53851, classified Citizen Owned. It holds a current ZRA tax clearance certificate, is VAT registered since 2 April 2025, and holds Workers' Compensation Fund Control Board compliance. TPIN 2800477125.
- What voltage levels does Height Supply work on?
- Up to 33 kV. Completed work includes commissioning twenty-nine 33 kV gas insulated Schneider panels, constructing an indoor 33 kV substation with a dual 33 kV overhead line at Makeni, and installing a 100 kVA 11/0.4 kV transformer substation at Kazungula. The company has also rerouted ZESCO distribution overhead lines on the Lusaka to Ndola dual carriageway for AVIC International under ZESCO supervision.
- Do you test transformers, or only install them?
- Both. Testing and condition monitoring covers transformer oil breakdown voltage, insulation resistance with polarisation index, ratio checks, magnetic balance, vector group verification, switchgear hipot, contact resistance, CT and VT ratio checks and thermographic surveys. The company also filters transformer oil on site: twelve 4.8 MVA 380 V / 33 kV transformers were processed until the oil held 60 kV BDV, which restores dielectric strength rather than replacing the oil.
- Does Height Supply do civil work as well as electrical?
- Yes, and holding both registrations is the point: a substation and the slab under it can be one contract with one programme. Civil work includes building and housing construction, roads and earthworks, and bridges. Nasenga Bridge II in Chikakata District was built under the company's NCC Grade 4 Category R registration.
- Where is Height Supply based, and where does it work?
