Rerouting of ZESCO distribution overhead lines, CH101 to CH117
Sixteen chainages of distribution overhead line relocated clear of the Lusaka to Ndola dual carriageway works at Kabwe.
Height Supply relocated ZESCO distribution overhead lines between chainage CH101 and CH117 to clear the road reserve for the Lusaka to Ndola Dual Carriageway. The work was carried out for AVIC International under ZESCO supervision, and covered pole positions, conductor stringing and reconnection of existing service take-offs along the affected span.
Outages were planned around the road contractor's programme so that supply interruptions to customers along the route were kept to booked windows.
